I have swam over 65 miles open water this year with absolutely no wear and tear, no chafing and totally comfortable in temps as low as 54°F, 12.5°C. In racing it is the fastest on and off suit I’ve ever owned.
enjoy swimming in good weather with this good wetsuit. It always makes swim comfortable.
Compared to other companies, this 3mm wetsuit is VERY affordable. I spoke to customer service to get the most suitable size with my measurements and they were so so helpful. Packaging is awesome and so happy with this purchase!
Premium Yamamoto neoprene, derived from limestone, offers an eco-friendly alternative to petroleum-based materials. Unlike natural rubber, it's chloroprene rubber (CR), allergen-free, and healthier for users. Production processes utilize renewable energy like hydroelectricity, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
SUMARPO, as the first, adopts water-based and non-benzene adhesives for triathlon wetsuits, which are more eco-friendly than other oil-based and benzene-containing adhesives. This is a historical milestone of triathlon career in environmental protection.
Sumarpo recycled lining fabrics is one of the technical norms of the label Oeko-Tex. It guarantees the absence of use of any toxic substances on a textile product. We are willing to offer more textile products that are respectful of your skin and health. This liner's SLIP SKIN and SQ FLEX patented technology makes Sumarpo wetsuits perfectly flexible and fast when donning and off.
Wetsuits keep you warm, they don’t keep you dry. They work by allowing a small amount of water in your suit when you jump in the water the first time. The neoprene, the rubbery material that the suit is made out of, is an insulating material which works in conjunction with your body to heat the water, trapping it against your skin and keeping you warmer while you’re in the water.
A triathlon wetsuit is designed explicitly for the needs of triathletes, providing thermal insulation, buoyancy, and hydrodynamics for racing. It is made with thinner neoprene material than a diving or surfing wetsuit, as it needs to be flexible and allow for a full range of motion during swimming.
A wetsuit should fit clingy to the skin, kind of like a glove. You’ll know that a suit is too tight if it restricts your breathing, or if you can’t reach upward without it really hunching you over. A suit is too loose if it bunches beneath the arms, chest or waist. A wetsuit that is too big won’t do you any good because it will just flush with water, instead of doing its job to maintain body temperature.
Glued and blindstitched, which is also referred to as GBS, is where the material of the wetsuit joins together by being glued and stitched. This process forms a bond that reduces water penetration.
